YURT BASE PRICE INCLUDES:
• Walls just under 6’ (preferred for holding
in heat)
• Steep snow roof at 40%, which fares well in snow country
• Fully insulated for 4 season living (insulation sewn into walls,
roof insulation is a separate layer between the fabrics)
• Cedar door frame with canvas covered door (you may also get your
own wooden door)
• Outside cover is UV protected, mildew and water resistant
• Sample prices (below) include medium price range synthetic canvas
for walls, and high quality synthetic fabric for roof (there are several
options in quality and price range of fabrics)
• Full choice of colors for yurt cover
• Inside liner is off white,100% cotton, mildew protected , high
quality Sunforger canvas (option is fully natural, untreated)
• Aircraft quality cable
• . All of the frame is done in # 1 clear fir/larch, kiln dried,
including the 2x4 rafters.We may also be able to do round log rafters
for an extra labor charge. For a reduction in charge you have the choice
of getting your own round log rafters, and peel them, we then will finish
notching them
• A simple see thru dome window on the top, made of Mylar. You have
a choice of getting your own dome window.
